Airsoft: What it really looks like

Airsoft is a MilSim (Military Simulation). It is not simply "paintball for weaklings" or anything like that. It destroys paintball in realism.

The guns, as you can see in the first video, are very realistic looking, and in many cases, operate almost identically to their real steel counterparts.
They typically shoot out 6mm BBs, normally made of plastic. Their velocities usually range from 300 feet per second (fps) to 550 fps, using .20gram BBs, unlike the .12g BBs you would find in stores like Walmart or sporting goods stores.
